Two coach outings have been arranged for 2019, should you wish to reserve a place on any garden visit please contact the organiser and make your payment to the treasurer. Refunds will not be given due to the high cost of coach hire but you can nominate another person to take your place if you are unable to attend.

Helmingham Hall Gardens and spring fair, Stowmarket

Famous for its grade 1 listed garden status. Moated Tudor hall with rose and knot garden,walled kitchen garden, herb and wild areas, borders and deer park. Explore at your leisure as no tour included. Spring plant fair of 80 stalls, many rare plants, free talks and demonstrations, birds of prey, brass band etc. A special day out.

Bressingham, then Fullers Mill Garden, Suffolk

Wander the 3 gardens independently. 6 acre garden created by Alan Bloom, rose garden and 8000 species of plants.17 acres including the Dell and Foggy Bottom. Steam train museum, Dads army collection and 15 minute round train trip for optional £2. Lunch available if required. Onto Fullers Mill at 2 p.m with 7 acres of plantsman’s gardens built over 50 years. A waterside gem with river and mill pond. Afternoon private visit by car to a local hidden garden. Please offer car shares between you or take the bus. Must be pre booked as numbers are limited to 20. Meet at 2pm.
Afternoon teas included. A peaceful traditional 2 acre secret cottage garden to wander through. Full of flowers, winding paths, an orchard, trees, vegetable plot, beehives, vine house, wild flowers. All maintained by volunteers for the benefit of the community.
